Visors Tv's, Headrest Tv's, and tuner install question
Visor Tv's, Headrest Tv's, and tuner installed

Hello All,
I was wondering if anyone knew if I could install all these to my factory 6cd radio. I have a line converter for my subs, and amps off my back speakers, but was curious how I would get sound out of my interiors if my radio has no AUX on it. I have two visors and two headrest tv's and a tuner and playstaion 2, can this be done? Any information will be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys...

Yes, you can do this with a blitz adapter, which plugs into the back of the factory radio. There is a left and right female RCA attached to this adapter. You just plug in your audio source and you're done. Hit the CD button twice on you radio and it puts you into AUX mode.

2002, thanks for the information. That's great because I really didn't want to change my stock radio yet. Also since you have been so helpful, do you think I should invest in a capacitor for my amps, subs, tv's and playstaion 2 or do you think our batteries can handle it.
Yup, the adapter we have will work, it's $70 shipped.
As for adding caps, in my opinion, they are totally unecessary, and for the most part, are mis-conceived. A cap is more for a sub amp, for making a smoother transition in lower end frequencies, and holding deeper bass notes.

Caps also are intended for loosely-regulated power supply amps - which is most of them but not all. Alpine, Rockford, Kicker, JL "e" series, etc.
JL "slash" series, xtant, Hifonics, and I believe Zapco/Arc Audio, and the bigger PPI ( ALL the old school PPI) use stiffly-regulated power supplies, making the same power between 10.5-11 and 16 volts.
Or, as I like to say, your music doesn't suddenly sound better just because you pulled out to pass a slow car...
BTW, this is what "DC-DC converter" means on the side of an Alpine HU box...
