Viper 5901 Alarm

Hi everyone, I just had this alarm installed last week. Works great so far but now when I turn off the car and pull my key out of the ignition..it does not automatically unlock my doors. Can I still get this back?

I also lost the auto memory seat function too when I open the door but I think I had read that this is normal...unless that feature can be saved too?

This is on a 2003 tl, Thanks!

It should be able to be programmed back in. The best thing to do is take it to the shop that installed it and have them program it for you. They should do it for free.

Memory setting for your seat will be lost now since you won't be using your factory key pad anymore. As for the unlocking when taking your keys out, it's all in the installation. Take it back to where you got it installed at to change that setting.

got it fixed by programming the alarm itself. Now it will lock automatically too. had a buddy help me install it. places around here charge about $400 installed. ( i don't think they solder or anything special - you get what you pay for )
