So I want to get some of you experts feedback on this. I bought a dual woofer box from another memeber here but recently decided to go with single 12" for my sound system. it's a biaaaaaatch thing to sell this dual woofer box since shipping on it would cost as much as the actual box so I would like to use it with my single sub. It's Q logic Box for 2 12" 1.75cubic in. I'm planning on using the other hole for my amp to protect it from crap that i'll be carrying around. Being a college student and golfer that I am, books and golf clubs are number one factor to damage my amp if i just install out in open. Now my question is this... If I do this setup where I have one 12" in half of the dual woofer box and install the amp in another half, will this affect any bass coming off my sub??? I have JL 12"w3v2 if that makes any difference. Thanks guy..

p.s if you guys have any idea of modifing this dual woofer box to make it all professional, please let me know. Someone told me to cut out big square instead of circle and put neon lights and such....

 

You know, I've been told that there's no right way to execute a bad idea, and this is a bad idea.

Most of these are not divided in two. Is this one? If not, then do NOT run just one woofer in it. Too big, bad sound. Regardless, why eat up an extra cube if you don't have to?

It should be CAKE to sell a woofer box on craigslist. Local, free. Give that a try.

 

I already did.. but it's ALOT harder you think.. I had zero response from this site.. put up on the craigslist in my area, got two responses but both seemed shady as hell... they were asking discounts for 'charity who claims to be for tsunami relief fund' wtf!!

 

Any idea if the box that JL audio makes for 12 w3v2.. u know the one with grey carpet and red interior.. called HO (high output) .. will fit my trunk?? There is this guy selling it in my area and just wanted to see if it will even fit.. I know it's def bigger than the Q logic box that i have right now but wanted to see how much bigger... I have 1.25 cubic inch and just from its number it seems alot bigger.. anyone have this original JL audio woofer box in a trunk of their CLS?
