MDX: USB Audio AND Android Auto?

The answer is apparently not. I have tried USB hubs and splitters to no avail. I am now using a regular USB 2 USB-C cable with a USB-C F2F connector to a USB-C to USB-F adapter. If I want to connect my phone to use in Android Auto I unplug the USB-C F2F connector and connect my phone. If I want to listen to my music on USB I leave the aforementioned set-up up.
