usa-spec problem?

I just installed a usa-spec in my 04 tsx non-navi. Sometimes when I turn my car on I get static for a second or two then its plays the song fine. How do I get rid of that awful noise? Why is it doing that?

I would check to see that the connection to the radio is secure and no wires are loose from the plugs.
