Guys,

I shared my delight with my install of the USA-Spec iPod adapter I installed into my 2002 Pathfinder, but now I have to put the other one in my wife's 2005 TSX (non-navi). Can anyone lend a hand as to the best way to gain access to the rear of the radio? I was thinking I could manuever my way around the back without having to remove the radio, but after the install I did on my Pathy I needed lots of hand room to manipulate those connector locks and such. Any words of wisdom or hints on how you did it would be much appreciated!

There's no need to remove the HU. Remove the CD storage compartment under the HU (press out on both sides from inside, then pull out), and you'll have all the room you need.
You'll probably need Y-cable for the XM.
IIRC, there's a member here from the NoVA area selling the adapter, y-cable and everything else you need. Check out the black market section.

 

Ok, I'll try that route and hopefully can swing it. I already purchased the adapter along with the unit so I should be all set.

 

I have an 05 TSX with Navi and XM. I got the USA Spec and the neccessary Y-Cable. Should I go to Circuit City to get it installed or do it myself? And could I get an in-depth description of how to intsall this. Thanks.
