Upgrading amp...

Is it possible to upgrade the stock amp and stock speakers on a 01 CL but retain the stock head unit...

People retain the stock headunit ALL the time, and the best part is the stocker does have pre-amp outputs for a different sub, just gotta make a little adaptor harness though
