Hey guys,

I am going to sell my Eclipse 5081 and put in a new HU that supports XM and MP3/CD-R's.

My current favorite unit is the Alpine 7995, but the 7998 looks good also. IThe other option seems like the Pioneer 8400, but I am less excited about it than the Alpines. With Alpine, I will then put in their XM radio and 6-CD/CD-R changer and the Turk antenna.

Does anyone have experience with these HU's and also does anyone know a good hook-up for prices? Any advice on all this?? I will be doing the work myself.

Do you have pics of your current setup? I like the Alpine units a lot. Thats probably what Im going to be putting in my car. I had a chance to use the 7998, and 7995, and I was impressed. Try looking at ebay, or shops online for better prices.
