Unlock code for factory stereo doesn't work

Yes, i've used it in the past. One time I changed my battery and I had to input the code and recently i've changed the high beam light bulbs and had to remove the battery.
But last night when I tried to start my car it went dead all of a sudden. Opened the hood- a battery contact came loose - my bad - did not tighten it good enough.
When I tried to input the code - it started giving me errors - one after the other -" ERR 1 " - so forth.
Unplugged the battery again for 10 min - same story
Acura dealership doesn't know what else to do
Fuses are intact - it ejects CD's

HELP

I suggest you take it to a mechanic... he/she will then go to the dealer and get the code for you...(btw... make sure he is doesn't work for a major corporation... because they usually charge for it)

Why would he do that?? He HAS the code. The radio isnt accepting it.

Unplug the radio antenna from the back of the radio turn the key on and enter the code. If it accepts it then put the antenna back in.

I didnt have to unplug my antenna for it to work. You might not have the right code. I took my radio out and took it to the dealer and they searched the right code for me for free. Just a sugesstion.

i really suggest removing the Bose cd changer and putting an aftermarket. there are threads hear that tell u how to get the sub to work with an after market. if the Bose unit you all have now isn't jamming cd's it will sometime. mine kept jamming the cd's, and i had to bang on the dash to free them up.

its just i have had so many problems with that stock Bose cd unit i highly suggest removing it before you get more problems. i mean if you cant get the code to work just get rid of it.

hope you dont run into any more problems
