1. I've searched and read about all the things that need to be done to upgrade the stock system. I saw the parts about bypassing the Bose EQ in the trunk, but all the topics I read were in reference to those keeping the stock HU. I've already changed my HU, do I still need to bypass the EQ or is it already off ?

2. After I had my HU changed the light in the clock above the climate control no longer works. I am going in on thursday to get it looked at, but has anyone else had this problem ? Does the power that goes to that have anything to do with any wires that go to the deck or is it something where the guy probably just pulled out a harness by accident ?

If you changed the HU and retained the rest of the OEM system then the Bose sub is in the path but the Bose EQ is out of the circuit.

I suspect the clock is not pluggeed in OR the bulb went out from being moved around when disassembled.
