TV Tuner Enquiry?

I bought the myron&davis ad212 dvd player for my tsx06. I was just thinking(if reasonably priced) if there is a tv tuner that I can attach to the dvd player?

Thanks

The above player has an AV input so if the tuner has an AV output (which it should) you should be good. A god tuner is going to set you back a couple hundred bucks...and the reception is only so-so. I bought a DVD player with a built in tuner (it is a lot bigger and not as pretty as yours---the TSX DVD in the dash looks amazing) but mine is in the truck (and will soon be covered) so who gives a shit.

I think the stand alone tuners work better...from what I have heard in the forums.

When I am downtown I get the main local channel crystal clear (and that one has the traffic report for the bridge I am always stuck in traffic on

Moving is the PITA, it is like trying to use an old school house antenna with a category 2 hurricane going on outside (Category 1 or Tropical storm if you obey the speed limit)

Stand alones work better, especially if you keep it away from any other electronics.

But you have to realize that you will never get a cable tv like signal from a TV tuner. So if you're use to perfect HD TV from you house and expect it in your car, you will be unhappy. But if you tailgate, or ride the fairy, or get stuck in bumper to bumper traffic for 30min at a time, you will learn to love your tuner.
