I know the dudes here have been hooking up a DVD player to the navi screen but is it possible to attach a TV tuner to recieve broadcast channels? Anyone tried it??

it's the same as the dvd mods...you will need that pioneer piece to get the input jacks to the navi screen. from there, you can plug in any media source you want.

not that I have it...but the GEX-P7000TV is actually a TV tuner....

The Pioneer GEX-P7000TV can decode the composite video sources to display on your navi, just like the Pioneer AVC-RGB1 decoder can do. In order to also get on-screen text display (channel numbers, video input labels and setup screens) you will need to have a Pioneer AVD-W6000 display + CD-30RGB cable or AVD-W6010 display. The Pioneer 6.5" widescreen display can be put to good use for passenger viewing as it also connects to the GEX-P7000TV rear video output jack. Using the 2 displays now you can have different sources playing on each monitor at the same time selected by the wireless remote control.
