Thanks ElDude. I added a sub about a year ago. Am finally going to bite the bullet and add an amp and replace the mids/highs. (Just got the wife's blessing, yesssss!!!!)

One of my big concerns (next to SQ of course) is the appearance of the tweeter in the dash. I think I've seen the pic of your DLS (need to search for it) install but would you happen to have pics of any others you've used?

I too used the stock grills for everything because i wanted to keep a stock look, i ended up using the factory cross overs and factory amp, just for simplicity.... with the navi and all, didn't want to mess anything up...

Just use the stock tweeter grilles, unless you want it to be flashy...

I'm running the DLS UP6's too i believe, or maybe MG9's???... which unfortunately required me to cut out some of the sheet metal in the door to widen the opening for the speaker AND use a spacer... but thank god it looks stock when it's all put back together

I do not recommend using ANY tweeter under the stock grilles. You lose too much sound.

No problem. I saw a recent message by you mentioning that you are now authorized to sell DLS on the web and that some Acurazine pricing was on the way. Would you be able to let me know the price of the UP6?

i just put in MB quart about a week ago and they are great. everything looks stock i used the cross overs that came with the components and i mounted the tweeters where the stock ones were. iv'e order my jl 300/4 amp so hopefully that will make the sound quality better and louder.

I will be using a 300/4 as well. Just need to decide on components for the front, and something for the rear. Seriously considering the DLs and looking at a few other options.

The DLS CA41 outperformed my 300/4. Seriously.
