Question TSX - Workaround for MP3 Capability?

I just bought a 2008 TSX w/ Navi. I am seriously lamenting the lack of MP3 capability with the OEM 6-disc changer. Does anyone know of any 3rd-party MP3 disc changers that are compatible with the OEM sound system?

I realize I can go the Ipod route w/ either the USA*Spec or DICE systems, but I would prefer using MP3 CD/DVDs if possible.

There is an acura OEM piece that does this if that is all you want. It replaces the top storage pocket under the radio with the MP3 CD deck.

Yes, I know about this option, but I was hoping to not give up the center console space for the OEM MP3 player. I would prefer to have something like an MP3 changer in the trunk of the car or something similar to that.

Really? I think you could get a old used iPod and a DICE unit for less than what you would pay for a changer. I bought a 20gig iPod for $75 and the DICE unit is like $175 or something. You can fit way more songs on this than on 6 mp3 CDs. Installation is super easy and the integration with the OEM stereo is as good as it gets.

I think this is the most rational choice for mp3 functionality.

Well, you're not going to get any external 6CD changers, with or without MP3 ability, integrated with the OEM equipment easily. In terms of turn-key solutions, there is the Acura addon and there are aftermarket kits. Both are good, pick whichever you like more.
