XM Radio Question about FM Antenna
I installed my XM radio yesterday. I got the the BlitzSafe AUX plug becasue I've heard that going through the FM sucks, so I just wired the XM antenna to the Audiovox housing.
Since I didn't do the FM route, would I gain any extra signal strength by rewiring the XM and FM antenna together?

DO NOT DO THIS.
BAD. Very, very bad. You're gonna fry your stereo and your XM equipment. Both use powered signal amplifiers and splicing the two together will cause a surge.
Not to mention that your FM antenna is turned to a completely different band than XM and can in no way pickup the XM signal. And vice versa.

this is what I mean, this is the FM antenna that the instructions say to into the Audiovox housing. That little football shaped thing is where the XM antenna is supposed to go plug into the FM antenna. But since I didn't go the FM route, would I get a better signal by having both antennas?
