TSX Rear speaker adapter...which is hot, which is ground?

Okay, So i bought the speaker adapter that plugs into the harness so I don't have to cut the wires...i am going to be using the signals to send it into the inputs of a subwoofer. and no , i don't need a LOC because my amp has speaker-level inputs.

anyways, I received the adapters today with ZERO instructions. I would ASSUME black is ground, white is HOT. but i want to make sure. Here are the pics, does anyone know ? the white wire has the pink quick-disconnect while the black wire has a squarish smaller quick disconnect.

also on the tsx rear speaker, how do i know which wire on the speaker is again, HOT or Ground?

thanks!

No instructions were included because you would normally attach that to a speaker and the speaker usually has keyed terminals. The bigger disconnect, white wire, goes to the (+) terminal and the smaller disconnect, black wire, goes to the (-) terminal. So, just cut the ends off and attach to the respective positive and negative wires or input terminals on your amp. Of course, you can hook it up in reverse, it will still work, may even sound better, it depends. As for hot or ground, it probably best to avoid that nomenclature in this instance as it could be confusing. If one were to connect the amp output to chassis ground, the amp would blow. And wire colors don't always help, car:black->ground, house:black->hot, white->neutral.
