TSX fiberglass subwoofer boxes

Hi, all. We at avincar are now offering 10" and 12" fiberglass subwoofer enclosures.

We have the form-fitting tub made for us at a fiberglass production house from a mold that we made.

Then we make the front for a 10" or 12" as needed, add more layers, and then upholster it. Our boxes are rock-sold, have no holes, wouldn't flex if an elephant sat on them, and are duracle as all get-out.

Many members have our boxes and can tell you how good they sound (acuradog for one). Our loaded boxes use DLS subs - great-sounding subs, as many forum members can tell you!

We make them available in the following configurations:

unloaded 10": $400 (specify one or two wires out)

unloaded 12" $500 (specify one or two wires out)

loaded 10" with DLS Classic 10" sub: $475

loaded 10" with DLS Magnesium Reference (what I have): $500

loaded 10" with DLS Ultimate 10" (4 ohm DVC): $650

loaded 12" with DLS Classic 12": $600

loaded 12" with DLS Magnesium Reference 12": $650

loaded 12" with DLS Ultimate 12" : $800 (specify wiring - it's a 4 ohm DVC)

Pics here

These prices do not include shipping - we use FedEx Ground and get 10% off retail prices with our new FedEx account : ) I suspect that the East Coast is looking at $20 shipping or so unloaded, and $30 or so with a woofer in there (depending on which one - the shipping weight for a DLS Ultimate 12" is 44 pounds by itself!)

The Reference and Classic subs come with grilles, the Classic doesn't, you'll have to order one you like from somewhere if you want one.

We have three of the tubs on hand already, and we have more on order. Now that we've finally caught up on backorders for the other kits, we can ship you your box in 7 to 10 days (depending on demand and how many people are in front of you - something we'll tell you at the time of your order).

We take PayPal, and all you need to do is let me know that you want one and what configuration, and your ZIP code, I'll send your PayPal account a Request for Payment with actual shipping included.
Any questions, let me know here, via PM, or email me at acurazine at avincar.com.

I have one with the 10" DLS magnesium and it very nice. Takes up very little trunk space and good sound. Highly recommend it!

Can you tell us the interior volume in case we decide to use our own sub? Also are these only for the left side of the vehicle (just curious)?

We estimate the volume for the 10 at about .55 and the 12 at about .65 after magnet displacement for most woofers (most don't vary too much).

We COULD make the 10 with the 12" buildout...but most 10s have sounded very good. SMall box sealed woofers usually have some slop in their box volume... not like ported.

Note to self....Never let a prototype out the door without factory pilot supervision!

I would love to hear the 12" DLS Ultimate set up.

Got any elephant test pictures?

Note to self…. Always get a knowledgeable second or third opinion to verify what is the real deal. Remember, some people think their sh_t don’t stink!

I took my 05 TSX to Elduderino shop to purchase the 10” DLS Magnesium w/ custom fibergass enclosure and am happy with it. I also recommend it.
Since I have been shown what a quality solid fiberglass sub enclosure is from other stereo shops, I can vouch that Elduderino enclosures are solid.

Uh, back to me : )

I'm just a good old official vendor, never doin' no harm, offering some sub boxes is all. As acuradog says, they work and so do the woofers : )

I copy- and pasted this post from the one in the Black Market and the pic link didn't copy... that's why I had to add them later.
