Don't mean to hate or bash anyone but is it me or is it that TSX-r's dominate this a/v thread. I keep with this thread daily and everything is TSX related. Did people stoping modding a/v in their cl's. Maybe i should trade for a tsx

Look, I'm not arguing with you...but

The last year of production of the CL was 03...that's 4 years ago. No longer is a CL a "new car" and those doing audio mods probably get it used. There just isn't the same passion in "foruming" if you buy a used car with 100+k miles thats on its 3rd owner.

You can pick up a $15 wiring harness and drop a DIN form factor unit in a CL. I wish you could do that in a TSX. With the HVAC controls and radio being in one panel there's a whole new set of challenges. The TSX is probably the most modded Acura right now, so you see the presence in the Audio section because there are not separate audio threads for each car...

 

I think it's because the TSX is the best car out there and only the smartest people alive buy them. That being said, the factory stereo is somewhat lacking and is the only part of the car that needs "modding".

 

...with some exceptions like intake, header, valves/vtc, ecu, cat, exhaust, dampers, springs and sway bars! you're absolutely right about the people that buy them!
