trunk passageway door

trunk passageway door

Jus a quick question hopefully someone could help me out with.......i am trying to remove that little door behind the pull down arm rest in the backseat of a 02 tl-s....anybody done this and if so anyone know the easiest way to do it without breaking anything????

It's attached to the rear seat.

You'll have to get a rachet set and takethe seats out... sounds lika alot but it's really only four bolts. (8mm I think) they are BESIDE the seat belt bolts, you do not have to take the seatbelt bolts out.. just the bolts holding the seats down.. The armrest door is attached to the rear seat, once you have the rear seat out you can see how they've attached it to the seat.. That's probably the best way to attack it..

I had to take mine off like you are talking about when i mounted my cross over there. RF is right you have to take the back seat out to get to all the screws to remove it. Pop up the bottom of the back seat and remove it and then you will see the 4 bolts holding the bacb part down. they are actually 10 mm, not 8 (not that it really matters). Once you have the back out you can see that the pass through is held on with philips head screws.
