Trunk Noise
Dynamat is not the answer...it may help "quiet" it down, but it WILL NOT eliminate it. You need to find out what's rattling and stiffen it up.
Look at it like this...rattling, or vibration, is cause from parts "moving". If you put dynamat on it, it's still going to move. I can tell you that most of the noise of coming from the top part of the trunk, behind the carpeted piece. You need to remove it, and stuff foam or something in there, along with securing the trunk release line to the car better...that alone vibrates like crazy against the metal of the car.
Also, the license plate...put weatherstrip behind it, and add two screws in the bottom two holes

Ha that'd suck for those of us without two holes on the bottom...drill into the car??
Rudebwoy:
The best way to combat this problem is just to port subwoofer boxes into the cabin through the rear deck or rear wall...that way your trunk doesn't act as an enclosure and you won't have the compression and decompression you get when you don't port the box.
