Hi, I have a 1st gen CL with a clarion tvx5653 on the top did and a clarion autopc on the bottom din. My problem is that in included trim surround (one with each unit) does not fit You can either put it on the top din or the bottom din not on both cuz, theres not enough space between the DINs. Does anyone know where I can purchase(or custom make) a trim kit so it looks nice instead of having all that metal showing at the sides of the radio?

Hey im sorry i cant answer your question but do you have any pics of this? I would try and installer in your area to see if they have any ideas though.

 

you can custom make a trim ring out of an ABS sheet available at www.selectproducts.com and attach that to one of the clarion trim rings to hold it in place... either that or just trim one of the clarion trim rings and glue them together, sand it down and paint it so it is one trim ring.
