Does anyone use an MP3 capable phone with the input jack in the center console?

I use the MP3 player on my phone (Treo 650) instead of a dedicated MP3 device like an Ipod. I couldn't find any info on the TSX forums or Treo forums that I read.

 

I have a treo and use mp3 on it, but usualy use the FM transmitter.

How do you hook it up directly hook it up to the headunit? I have a 2005 TSX.

It turned out to be pretty simple. I ran a cable with a submini plug on the phone end hooked into the headset jack and a mini plug n the other end plugged into the outlet in the (07) center console. I'm assuming 05's have this plug but I'm not sure.

 

The aux. jack is new for '06 (for the TSX). '05 TSX owners have to add an adapter. There are a number to choose from; I'm using the Blitzsafe HON/AUX DMX V.2X.

If you do some searches you should find more info. Keep in mind that they vary a lot in features and price.
