2-way vs component ? need help deciding

hey guys, not too good w/ speakers and was just wondering what i should get for my setup...

i have 2 10 inch kicker subs w/ a kx1200 amp...thats pretty much it.

i've noticed that there are times where my music gets distorted and its really hard to hear the vocals and figured it was my stock speakers.

what should i do? go with 2-ways or components? im not too sure what the difference is....went to best buy today and the worker guy there said, "one has a tweeter and one doesnt..." i was like wtf? lol

w/ a budget of $100-$200, (im not planning on getting an amp for my speakers anytime soon), what would you guys recommend me getting?

oh, and also how come they dont sell front and rear speakers usually?

just a quick search through eBay...http://cgi.ebay.com/Focal-165-V3-3-W...QQcmdZViewItem

hardly even looked at that but saw that it came w/ "
Includes two 6.5” woofers, two 4” midrange speakers, two tweeters, and two crossovers!" what exactly are those and what does it differ from 2-ways?

sorry for all the questions, but if someone could clear things up for me i would really appreciate it! thanks...

i guess what im really asking is...how can i make the vocals clearer and louder so my car wont sound like a big subwoofer?

oh, btw...

is it absolutely necessary to apply an amp to power component speakers? Would I be able to power Diamond D3s or D6s w/o an amp? thanks.

you just need to play with the levels.......i have a kicker L7 15'......and i'm using the stock factory speakers in the doors and it sounds great.......its not pure bass as you might think........until i turn up the bass level....
