I've been thinking of buying a HK TrafficPro GPS system from circuitcity since the price has been reduced by 50 % now it goes for 799$ installed and comes with free speakers and installation. I have a 98'cl the only stereo mod I have is a sealed box with twin 10" solobarics and and alpine v12 amp for extra bass. I want to keep the stock head unit and just remove the cassete player and replace it with the trafficpro. I'm pretty sure I can use the adapter from cartoys.com which converts the cd changer in into an rca in, and hook up the traffic pro with this device, I know I have to splice into the power line but I think this should work any suggestions or input would be appreciated.

 

Sorry, no go. Our factory radios are larger than one din (about 1.25) and this unit looks like it's at least one din. The cassete deck is about .75 din. Both the stock radio and the HK will not fit together. Why not just use this as you radio, it looks like it will do everything.
