TL upgrade Help

I have an 04 TL with navi and would like to upgrade the rear speakers and sub. So far, i have decided against changing the fronts due to the navi. My idea is to hook up locs to the right rear, left rear and sub, then lead that to an 3 or 4 channel Amp. This amp would provide power to the 2 rears ( aftermarket)in stock location and maybe 1 or 2 subs (2 10 or 2 12s in an custom enclouse in the left rear of the trunk{this means leaving the stock sub in} or 1 8 in the stock location). Is this practical or is it just stupid?
Also, what company speakers/amp should i get, i want clarity along with good quality products. As for the sub, i want something that hits hard, but no block shaking hard. Any help is appreciated.
BTW, as for a price range, i can do 1.2k or less.

im sorry, i forgot to eloborate on the price of the system. I can go as high as 1k after install, that would mean about 550 for the speakers and amp.
