Can I ask what kind of line-level converter are you using???

Are you using a high-low pass converter tapped from the rear speakers?

or a full-pass line-level converter? it really should not matter since i'm running an LP config on my amp.. but i've gone through several amps and subs.. for some reason the bass is horrible very inaudible. so i'm just trying to deduce the possibilities...
