is there a trick ?

have the radio code for 98 cl but it wont accept it just entering it normal ? got to hold a button or what is the trick ?

No, it should be you enter the code and it functions like normal.. Maybe the radio was replaced at one point and the code doesn't match the radio..

I'd look for the serial number on the radio and try and call a dealership they should be able to get you the code via the serial number.
