Well you can use different sizes and achieve different looks and different flexibility levels as well. I use 1/2" for a LOT of what I do. 2 sets of RCA's is going to be difficult through 1/2", but I have done it. The trick is to wrap the tips in electrical tape, and then stagger them in the wrap. The 14ga x2 can probably go in 1/4" stuff.

We used to use this recipe for wiring over at DIYMA:

As far a the sizing goes:
1/2" will do 4g wire and be solid black.
1/2" will do 0g wire and show some of the wire color
3/8" will do 8g wire and be solid black
3/8" will do 4g wire and show some of the wire color
1/4" will do speaker wire as small as 16g and be solid black
1/4" will do 8g wire and show some of the wire color

Furryletters on eBay is my favorite techflex vendor.

Good tip (bold). It really does make a huge difference.

Also, thanks for the sizing chart. That's very good info.

As for buying, he's in Cincinnati (assuming location is correct) which is around 40-45 minutes from Springboro (aka Parts Express) and they happen to be having their yearly sale this Saturday. I know I'm planning on heading up there to see what kind of deals they're offering. Should be pretty impressive, or at least I've heard it is, and I'm hoping so, since this will be my first time going to it. If it's anything like the Maxxonics factory sale, then there will definitely be some steals to be had.
