Tap into factory system

Anyone tap into their system with some kin of switch. THe ideal plan is to use my dvd/playstation etc... on the factory system yet have the navigation still work so i can plan a trip then watch some movies...i mean the people in the back watch some movies 
I have the helm electronics manual an poke through it a bit, but i wanted to know if anyone has successfully done this. thanks

If your talking about doing a video on your navi install, you will use a switch to change between navi and video mode. The navi computer is still active when in video mode, so you can program your trip, switch over to video and then switch back to navi anytime you wish (although your movie watchers won't be happy!)
If your talking about rear monitors then...
You can "y" cable your composite video output from your source or use the RCA output on the Pioneer AVC-RGB1 for signal to your rear seat monitor(s). The navi switch will have no impact on rear monitor video.
