Taking a sound system out of the car. Need help plz

Hey guys.... so i just sold my amp and want to take out the box and the subs. I have a cable that goes to the battery and a lot of disconnected cables in my trunk... Do i just pull them out? I dont feel safe doing that.... Oh and the box... do they glue it on? or screw it in? Any help would be appreciated.
Thx for your time

Your amp has a power connection at the battery. There should be a fuse at the battery. Remove the fuse ASAP. If there is no fuse and your wires short in the trunk, you could have a fire... but that's only likely in the case of a shade tree install gone bad.

Your box is rarely glued into the car. If anything it's screwed it. I bet a car stereo shop would charge you next to nothin' to pull this stuff.

i went to the store where they installed my audio. He said the cables are not worth taking out of the car... to just hide them. To take them out it would cost me 45 dollars.... Thats a burnnnnnn

Well if you don't know how to take a car apart, no one can write DIY instructions to pull cables if we don't knwo where they're ran, so figure it out or find another shop or...

You can't always get what you wa-an-ant
