I have to 10 JL Subs which i am about to install in my 01 Type S... can somone recommend any good amps? Price Range would be no more than $250.

It depends on the power rating of the subwoofer. Match that to the power output of an appropriate Alpine V12 amplifier and you can't go wrong. Alpine is a clean sounding and affordable amplifier that lasts and looks good in our car. My subwoofer amplifier is a D5 1200.1 by Diamond Audio powering 1 M6-12-D2 subwoofer. It sounds awesome but I would not suggest this amplifier unless you have the JL audio W7 Subwoofers because any other JLs will blow if you push them. I have already blown 2 Diamond audio 12s that are supposed to handle up to 800 watts. I took less that 20 minutes for each subwoofer to blow. The problem is this amp puts out up to 1400 watts at a 1ohm load which is how I wired the subs. What a dumbass! Next time I will pay attention. Well I didn't have to pay for them because I got them from a dealer that I used to work for and he just sent them in for replacement, but I was lucky and I hated not having bass for a couple of hours each. Diamond Audio is good and clean too and they offer some lower power amplifiers but they are expensive. Sorry for the long story, just listen to my first 3 and my last sentence before this one.
