Subwoofer question

I was thinking about getting the infinity basslink, but haven't seen them installed in a tsx or how good they are. I don't want bass thats going to shake my car, but something that clean and you can feel and doesn't take up much room. Would this be the best choice or is there any other powered subwoofer thats would perform better?

That's about right. I've had 1 in 3 CLS's.
I still fit luggage for 2 for 2 weeks of vacation in the trunk recently.

I've read that if the speaker is in the trunk it muffles the sound and can't really hear it is this true?

Not really. Although I'm not sure how the TSX trunk is. In my CLS there's only a slight decrease in volume. Any trunk mounted sub is not going to be as loud as if it's in the cabin with you.

There's no problems with mounting a sub in the TSX trunk. The rear deck and back seats are so porous you'll get all the wonderful bass. Its not a jaguar.

There have been a number of posts about this recently...I would provide links to them but am only stopping in, so don't have the time. Do a 'Search this forum' and put in 'basslink' and you should get them all...

By the way, I disconnected my 6x9's and connected the cables (using the Metra speaker adapters) to my Basslink and I love it. Nice clean bass, though it can really thump if I turn up the gain on the unit itself. Easy to install, cheap and a good result...not bad for an afternoon project! Obviously not as good as a nicely balanced system with better speakers, but pretty good for the cost and effort (you do seem to lose a little mid-bass for some reason, but that might just be a tuning thing).

Os.
