Both would be running off a 3000w monoblock =\

 

are the w6 the v2 model?

Either way I would get the JLs.

 

W6v2 is awesome, I like Xtant the best but....

3 13w7s or 3 12w6s(v2??) ? 3 13w7s wouldnt fit in a TL or A CL, unless if you go sealed, but going with 2 13w7s ported would sound better and would be cheaper.

but, JL subs can't handle well while kicker subs handle much better than JL. thats is why so many JL subs got blow. i pick kicker on this!

 

do this ready get 2 Jl 1000/1 amp to power each sub which will give u a kick ass bass

1000 x2 = 2g for amps
and subs go around tat price range 4gs on a system crazy

same thing here, if you get 2 PG Ti1200.1 pushing 2 PG Ti 12 elite subs. now thats set-up will be killer everything JL has.

first of all what subs are you comparing? the whole line in general? they are 2 completely different subs, the JL subs are more SQ while the kicker subs are more SPL. to go out and say that kicker is made better is a joke.
JL > Kicker

 

i said handle wattage not to compare between SQ of both subs, if you talking about SQ subs. there was a ton of difference brand name subs out there make better SQ than JL subs. just to let you know JL wasn't all that.

JL has great audio equipment, but it is over rated. they also have great marketing. I have a kicker L7, in terms of SQ, that's why I'm going with Midbass drivers.

 

JL for me. mid to lows sound good to me. also, you get beat a warranty as good as thiers(as long as its installed by a licensed installer of course)

 

i personally agree wit titand 19 im goin for the l7's jl may be cleaner just by a little but the price differnence is enormous kickers are a better deal

 

lol. if u got the cash, go with the W7. it will beat any other sub listed here in terms of clean sound quality output.

but choosing from the kicker compVR and W6v1, i'd go with the W6. of course the kicker sub can be made to sound good.

for the price the comp vr's are great subs. If you want a sub that can handle power and be reliable the comps are great. I ran 2 comp vr 12's in a sealed box for 1 year pushing a 600.1 d class rockford mono amp. Sold the stuff to my friend and he has been pushing them for the last year and a half hard with no problems. if you have the money go for the JL 12w6v2, if not get the kickers, you will be happy with them and save a lot of money.

 

go for the old kicker round solo-barics

 

screw everything else. if you want real subs just get the new pyramid pros. 1200w crucial subs.

No way in hell is kicker better than Jl! My friend has 2 - 12'' L7's in sealed enclosures and they are powered off the 1000/1 jl amp... I have a (1)12'' W7 powered by the almighty apline 1507 .... not only is my jl louoder and cleaner but you can hear every note more cleal too...

 

yup....i have two 12" eclipse in a custom box (sitting in a room being lonely) they definetly do the job. a nice crisp clean deep bass. but of course i have 2 15" JL W0's that will take your breath away.

 

kicker isn't that bad. they are actually pretty damn good.

 

one 10w7 and a jl 500/1 is more than enough bass. i have it in a custom ported box and my trunk rattle like madness.
