Mine is also a lease, but I plan on buying it at the end and really having fun with it (turbo.....yum). most people seem to really be happy with just replacing the speakers (esp the front ones) but in my situation I went the whole nine yards - certainly less work/money to try the fronts first...

Well i'd like to have SOME trunk left.. so one dual voice coil would be ideal.. although with the right argument i could be convinced to get two 10's heheh

I can't see why you want 2 subs unless you are after SPL.
Another thing to think of is that 2 subs weigh more than 1 sub, and with 2 subs you may need more amp (or bigger amp). All that adds to the weight of the car, which will affect performance.
Even with 1 sub, you can still get SPL if it is tuned properly (most likely in a ported box).

Yeah especially if its a nice sub like a JL.. I mos def will have to get a sub amp with a level remote if i dont get another basslink.

i voted for the 3rd choice, do both.....cause thats what i want to do.

i want :

focal speakers
jl audio amps x3 maybe 4
jl audio subs x2
jl audio wires


thats just me though.
