Sub setup

Im getting an suv for school, and was looking for a nice setup for it. i know my jl's would be and overkill, plus they're too big, so theyre staying in the tl. i was looking for something smaller and cheaper, but would still provide loud bass. im willing to spend around 400 to 500 or so bucks. hopefully less?

what? SUVs are MADE for big bass. All that cargo room is primo for moving air. But you don't wanna waste 10s on that pup.. you need at least 12s. I say go 15s.

you want big bass small enclosure? get a pair of 2 10" solobaric l7s...... properly installed with a decent amp, it'll pound ur heart out.... give them a good 400-500 watts, mount them facing eachouther one on eachside of the cargo area behind the rear finders.....aves space...

Na,
You got to go with the BMF crossfire. Two 12 will hit about a constant 150 to 153 db. Feed a 2000 to 3000 watts I think it's holding the record for 2 subs right now.

what do you consider cheap. JL W0's run around 80 bucks...you can always check e-bay....eclipse subs run around 350....so...there is a idfference. the new JL w7's are $550 up. It all depends on what music you listen to, and how big or small...your wallet is.
