Sub Box Question

I just got a 10" Infinity Kappa Sub and it calls for a 0.75cu ft box. My friend is willing to give me his Q-Logic Box, but it has a net volume of 1 cu ft. If I use this box, will the sub sound bad? What are the cons for going this route?

It's good to stay with the recommended size. If you go too big, the sub will think it's in an infinite baffle or free-air. However, I don't think 1 cu ft will be too big for that sub, even though it's made for smaller enclosures. If he's going to give it to you, might as well try it out and just listen to it.
