Hey. I'm planning on installing one 12" sub. Which is better? the boston acoustics 12" proseries or the JL 12w6 sub. Or are there any other ones you guys recommend? Please give me insights for i am super newbie.

 

I'd take the JL over the BA, but over both of those I'd go with Alumapro personally. Still the best sub I have used...clean, crisp, sharp tones.

 

are you referring to those alchemy or whatever? If so how much are they around? Also since i'm sure youre a veteran with this stuff, would you recommend me going with just one 12" or two 10". I'm not into SUPER LOUD bumping music but more of a CLeAN and yet pretty loud music. I dont know if i make sense. hehe.

 

I would go with 2 10's.

the dual 10'z will be much more punchy...but the 12 will be deeper...probably. the dual 10'z have more surface area so they should out bump and out pound the single 12. Just depends on what you get. I would go w/ 2 10" w0's from JL.
