which sub is better 12w6 or 10w7?

 

Depends on what you're looking for. A 10W7 will probably go louder. A 12W6 will probably give you an edge with SQ. There's a reason I spent more money on 2 12W6s instead of 1 12W7. I've heard them back to back and the difference in SQ is very small but I like the sound of the W6 better.

What type of music, What kind of box is it goin in, how much power and from waht amp.

I have a 12w6v2 in a sealed box currently. I also have a 12w7 in a big ported box sitting in the garage collecting dust. I tried the 12w7 sealed, but the 12w6v2 sounds so much better. The bass is clean and crisp. I use to have a 10w7 also. The 10w7 is alot more punchy vs the 12?

In a sealed box, you will get better sound from the 12w6.

 

if you want tighter clearer bass put a 12w6 in a sealed box. if you want boomier deeper bass put a 10w7 in ported box. /thread
