sub and amp questions~

ok i have 2 12" JBL subs in a box which is made so the subs are kind of facing each other in a direction with fiber glass in the front.
For the amp i have a rocksfordgate 900 watt amp but only transfers 150 watt to each sub.
I had a professional install it in a shop but the sound is a little bit louder and powerful than stock but not as loud as a sub normally is..
what do you guys suggest i do? i put everything to the max to raise my bass already.... and plus i have a stock deck..

Not really clear on this one... pics would help, and measurements would help a lot too... and I bet you mean Plexiglas, not fiberglass...

Let us know if these subs are 4 or 8 ohm, and single or dual voice coil (1 or 2 sets of speaker-wire taps per speaker?)

Do you mean that the amp is *capable* of 900 watts but you are wired to put out 300? Or what? I am not clear... maybe a model number if you are not clear either.

Well, the sub should hit with your bass centered.

Pro install unfortunately is not a lock of anything. Was it done at a big store or a small store? Was the manager involved?

The best way to deal with a purchase like this is to go in and POLITELY and without any attitude, ask to talk to the manager. Explain that you'd like him to hear your car. See what his reaction is. He may have an idea. He may have the install manager check it out. He may blow you off.

but you jacking with it at this point voids their install warranty, and you don't know enough about what to try to void that yet.

They owe you being happy with either their work or their explanantion, one of the two.

They will probably find something very easy like woofers out of phase or something... Good luck and let us know!
