sub addition
sub addition
sorry for the repost, but people seem to be glossing over my previous post
so i think i am going to eventually add a sub. i think the stock 6x9s are great, but i'm spoiled with my 12" sub at home. the problem is i don't have the desire nor money to put some flashy install in. i also don't want to eat up my trunk space with a massive sub box.
i was thinking of buying an amplifed sub. they claim you can tap the signal off another speaker. the rear deck 6x9s are sitting right there. i realize the sound quality will be less, but it is a sub, so clarity is not as important.
anyone have any experience tapping the seaker level output to a sub?

I might be misreading your post but I'm not sure what the line adapter has anything to do with space in your trunk...
If you are concerned about space, I would make an adapter that lets you use two 8" subs where the 6x9's are.
running wires
hey i am adding subs to my car. was it hard taking everything apart and running the wires? the remote wire......what color wire did you hook it up to in the back of the radio. and how did you run the main power wire thru all that under the steering wheel?
