Stock subwoofer and amplifier and aftermarket radio
I went to a local car audio shop (cartoys) and was looking at the Alpine ixa-w404 and the Kenwood KDC-X994. So I got a good deal on the Alpine installed and I read somewhere that the stock sub and amplifier wouldn't work with the new receiver (this is a 99 3.2tl) without buying
a simple, but expensive amplifier. Can anyone tell me if this is true? Or is there anyone in Seattle who knows how to install these things without changing too much?
