Don't order anything from there simply because their prices are outrageously priced, but the info there is great. Check it out, it has something to do with "select your car" or something. Good site for info, nonetheless.

Well both of you seem confused....you can fit 5.25 or 6.5 inch speakers in all doors. The 6.5 require you to cut the door some, not a big deal, well worth your while. I have 6.5 inch components in all 4 doors. You just have to watch out for the depth of the speaker....you cant have a deep speaker cause our windows are close. You will have to make a spacer for a speaker any more deep than 2.5 inches or so. I dont remember the exact dimentions.

All I know is my speakers fit perfectly depth wise w/o any spacer.

by the way, Crutchfield is a very good site/business. Just because they havent measured our cars doesnt mean a thing. They are one of the most respectable and best internet audio businesses out there.

You can get anything to fit in the door. It just depends how much custom work you want to do. For an easy fit, you are going to need a 5 1/4" or shallow 6 1/2". Mounting depth, like OU said, is very critical. Also, magnet size. I have a pair of Diamond M255i's. that will not fit. They would require an 1 1/2" spacer and then the door panel will not go on without longer clips. And these are only 5 1/4's. If you can find something in the 2"-2 1/4" mounting depth and not a huge magnet or basket assembly, it will go pretty easy. But, as you can see from others, we have all gotten alot of different things to fit. Diamond, JL, Focal, Boston.

I bought a pair of M265i and M255i on ebay for nothing and thought I could use them for rear fill. I will have to check again but, they are a huge basket. I think they went in about as far as the end of the terminal strips. One of the M255i mids is bad so, if I could get the M265i to fit, it would work out great. I will take another look. Really a cool idea with the integrated tweeter grill.

Well I got some of the stuff off Ebay, the subs from the shop that installed everything and the deck from Crutchfield. Its a pretty expensive system, but I wanted to go all out...I knew that it wouldnt make me happy to half-ass it. Ya the speakers fit great...had to cut the door opening some though, no big deal.

Here are some pictures of it that I posted a little bit ago. http://www.acura-tl.com/forums/showthread.php?t=75856

Email me at newman8350@aol.com if you have anyother questoins.
By the way the system ROCKS!!!
