Stereo Mounting Kits

Hey first post:

(before i pose this question, just want to say that I have searched around the site for this, so please do not tell me to do so, thanks.)

Was just wondering if anyone had puchased and installed a non-customized mounting kit for an aftermarket headunit, that fits in the standard space. Crutchfield has this one
Vehicle Specific Mounting Kit - TL but they say it doesnt work for a 99 for some reason (but works on 00, 01) does this make sense? Has anyone installed this in a 99 before? Thanks for your help with this.

it is a typo of some sort on their website. if you follow the link you provided it even says it is for 99 and up. so don't worry that is the one you are looking for
