Stereo connections HELP!!! (diagram)

Asking all the audio guru's to chime in to let me know if this is correct. Would like to know the color of the wires to which I am tapping ( remote & 6x9 +/- ). Also want to know if the tapping for the LOC off of the 6x9's are being tapped from the correct location.

I have done searches on the boards and have gotten lots of info and just want to be positive of the setup. Thanks for all advice and any and all info...

You seem to be doing that right, I don't know the colors off the top of my head, but someone will... : )

Your diagram for the LOC doesn't show tapping both (+) and (-) on each speaker, but you do... just follow the LOC wiring instructions.

amp wiring diagram

Not sure if this is the correct stock amp wiring diagram for the subwoofer, because of all the speaker inputs? If it is which wire can I tap for remote?

im not to knowledgealbe about amping the speakers, but what ive done is just to hook up the sub, is tapped the wires from the junction box from behind the rear seats and put those into the LOC and from that to the amp. It works well for the sub. Im not to sure about amping all the speakers. Ive got a diagram to do what i just described if you want that

Not to sure what junction box your speaking of. Is that right behind the passenger side back seat? It does seam a little easier to tap everything from one spot though.

Oh I thought that was your car. So all taps were done before the stock amp and after the stock EQ (assuming that silver box is the stock HU EQ) . Kinda looks like the taps were actually done between the EQ and the stock sub amp . Will this alter the the stock bose sub?

the splices were done before the stock sub amp. If you are only adding an aftermarket sub, it works. The stock sub will still work if you splice it, but it sounds better w/out it.

It seems like having the stock sub still connected would give more thump. So your saying without the stock sub it sounds better, how come?
Guys forgive me for all the questions I have not done a system in years.
By the way I just realized there aren't any 6x9's in the rear deck, just speakers in the rear doors (I feel like a idiot-DOHH!!!)

yeah you would think it would sound better, but i noticed that when both subs are connected the stock sub and the aftermarket one fire at slightly different times, which to me was annoying. i dunno, maybe its just me, but it sounded way cleaner w/just the aftermarket sub.

give it a shot, see what you think. I mean it's your car if you like the sound then leave it in, if not disconnect it. I personally didnt like the sound in conjunction with the aftermarket sound, so i disconnected it, removed it out of the rear deck and now have a port through which the aftermarket sub can enter cabin. it's your call

Thanks dark dj, for all your info I really really appreciate it. By the way is that silver box near where you made the taps the stock EQ? I will try both ways to see if I like the sound with both subs or not. Any other tips and tricks you or anyone else can add would be appreciated.

Bought these items from member NYZGREATST

https://acurazine.com/forums/car-parts-sale-361/f-s-amp-sub-digicap-custom-amp-cover-w-neon-fans-297382/

I thought the stock sub amp was behind the jack compartment in the trunk

So wait a little confused now. That silver box in your diagram is what, the stock sub amp or the stock EQ?

Keep in mind, I used a relay on the stock remote and when the car turned on there wasn't enough power in the remote wire to trip the relay... Had to step down to a computer style relay or run the remote directly off the fuse box, which is what I did.

So if I see the amp not turning on/off it could mean the remote tapped from the orange line is not enough power to trip the amp's relay and I should then use a fuse from the fuse box? if that does happen (hopping it doesn't) which fuse would i need to tap from the fuse box?

I'd have to check on the exact fuse.... but in the mean time if you were to connect a little wire from the 12v on the amp to the remote on the amp that will surely turn the amp on (it won't go off now, but this will check to make sure the amp is working).

like I metioned above, I had to do this, the stock remote wasn't strong enough to turn my amp on.

In doing so will it drain the battery since the amp will always be on (or is this just temporary to make sure the amp works)? Hopefully I won't have to go this route and can just tap the remote off of the orange wire.
It would be great if you could let me know which fuse to tap just in case. I would have tapped off of either ciggy lighters but I already tapped off of them for my nav-dvd conversion. I tapped a couple of fuses already on the drivers side fuse box, one for my fog light mod and another for my indiglo gauges. I also tapped a fuse from the passenger side fuse box for my neon footwell sticks.
I ask this question again the silver box in the picture is what? (stock sub amp, stock EQ or just a junction box)

He was suggesting it as a temporary test.

Your fuse box idea is the wrong way. Buy a low voltage trigger unit like the PAC TR from Autotoys, if that's the problem.
