or youcan use the axxess aswc, Its a much easier setup.pratically a automatic setup and only one wire is hooked up to the old harness(one going to the headunit)

I love it! and I was expecting the sound to be kind of weird because it is going HU - bose amp - bose speaker. BUT it sounds a lot better than the stock head unit did. and having a full equalizer adjustment built in to the headunit is really nice. iPod control is super nice too. its full speed so it loads your whole library really fast. and it displays the info on all the songs. title artist and album. its fcking awesome.

The bypass is really easy, I did it on my 4100 with a relay

yeah - thats what the video shows. i'm going to try and get it done this weekend w/out taking the head unit back out. i'm pretty sure i can do it all from the fuse panel.
my remote line runs right next to the fuse box so i can splice it there, the ebrake wire is already there, and ill need to find a ground which shouldnt be hard. now its just a matter of finding a relay. i'm hoping radio shack will have it.

Hello guys,
When programing the module...have the motor running if possible. Then hold each button on the steering wheel controls down for 2 whole seconds when programing the steering wheel control buttons. The LED on the module will stay off until you release the button. This will ensure the module learns the proper resistance value from the steering wheel. This will get rid of any delay or lag from the module.
The only other thing that would cause the lag is a malfunctioning clock spring or cable reel.

Or if you are any good at DIY mods, you can make a steering wheel interface for about $5 and add 2 buttons. I hated the fact that my 2003 TL type S only has 3 steering wheel buttons. i thought it was ridiculous to spend that much money on an interface when all you have to do is change house some resistors. Ill get some pics of what i have done to show you guys how to add an extra 2 buttons that still looks good and functions well.
