Hi all, i just picked up my 99 CL with 120k. It looks and runs great, but there are a few things I'd like to fix (timing belt,waterpump, p/s flush etc) I've got no audio or cruise control. Sometimes, in park the audio works but the cruise hasnt worked since i bought it a week ago. I've searched several threads and found a rough idea on the problems I've got. Should I take the steering wheel apart and check out the "grounding ring"? What else should I look for? Thanks for any info guys!

 

Yep, I would check the ground wires and clean the contacts on the plugs for the controls

 

Does the cruise use the same "grounding ring" as the audio and horn?

 

there's only 1 ground if I recall right
