Steering wheel audio buttons not working properly

Hello guys,
When I press the up or down volume on the steering wheel instead of changing the volume it changes to the next song, any ideas?
Thanks for any help.

If you still have your warranty take it to the dealer had mine fixed last month w/ my oil change and 2 brand new engine mounts for vibration at idle......hope this helps......

TL83s: I know I might have to take it to the dealer even though I don't want to touch a single acura dealer around here. This car has poor quality and the dealer thinks that the customer it's at fault because I am not spending $300 plus for a 30k check up. When you go to the dealer for warranty work they treat you very bad at least to me.

I have had the same problem with mine and then it started working fine. I think the buttons get stuck together...... not sure though. I am going to try and clean out the buttons and see if that works.

There is an update for a grounding ring under the steering wheel. Have to remove the air bag and dimple the ground ring to improve the bad ground. There is also a grounding "tab" under there that should be cleaned and resecured if you are going to take it all apart. With the fact that the airbag is involved i don't know that i would tackle this as a DIY.

I gotta tell ya, my dealer where I bought my Acura from was very good to me, they gave me a free oil change coupon + an extra remote for the car and then when my car was having its purge valve (sp?) replaced they gave me an Acura TSX as a loaner ... not bad, didnt have to sit in and drive a piece of crap ford!

had the same problem and fixed by the dealer. Get the impression that it is a common problem that they know about.

Hm I have never had that problem with mine I would think it would be hard to get the middle button to stick to the other two buttons because it sticks out so far from the other two. At first it really bothered me though that it didnt light up at night but then I kinda got the point that the whole point of them is so you dont have to stop looking ahead so I got used to it. I think im way too used to it though because whenever I drive other cars I always go for the radio controls and its just like ummmm no.
