Static in the Radio only

Static in the Radio only

I have all stock equipment, I have noticed this variation in volume when I listen to the radio. It seems to fade in and out with a little static in between. This only happens when I listen to the radio. When I am listening to CD's the speakers and everything sounds great. I have a 2003 TL w/Navigation. Has anyone seen this before.

Ok....bad reception. I thought that also, but it is happening in different cities. Is there any other reasoning the reception could be fading in a out.
