CDA-7998 Alpine Headunit

Ever since I setup the XM Radio Tuner to it, at least 3 days out of the week, the Settings for the Time Correction get all screwed up by themselves. They all go to 3.2 and the bass management to 32 on all levels. So I have to put the CD back in to reset all the settings.

Anyone else have these problems ???

 

Try setting up the settings manually, instead of using the cd. Is there a button you need to press, to save the settings? Is the clock also resetting?

 

Not the Clock or Presets are fine, I have tried doing it manually, but I still have the problem. Its just an annoyance. I love the Unit but little things that bother me.

 

Did some research and got ahold of Alpines Enginner and TechSupport. They were able to re-produce this issue as well as the Custom Media Expander screen getting garbled at times. Alpine will be putting out a Firmware Release to be installed on the CD either via the Ipersonalize or the Alpine Dealers. They thing that the AI Bus is getting overloaded with streaming data. This only happens with people using the XM via the AINet Bus.
