I am looking to for a hands free kit for my Motorola Startac mobile phone. I have a 97 TL with an aftermarket Pioneer DEH-P940MP head unit that has a cell mute lead (it will mute the stereo when connection is made).

Ideally I would like a Startac cradle that will interface with the stereo so when I flip the mute switch (or automatically if when the phone is ringing or in use, if the kit has the mute lead), will allow the unit to play through the car speakers and have an external microphone.

I know this sounds like allot, but hey, I am a dreamer. Any suggestions???

PS - I don't want to run it over FM, fist of all it is not as clean sounding...second, I would than need to switch to FM, then the channel, which would take to long to answer the phone.

 

Also, is there any recomended brackets?
